One day — not today, and not tomorrow — we hope there is a place where a young person with disabilities who has been moved more times than they can count gets to unpack all the way.
Where the walls learn their name.
Where “until we find something else” is not part of the sentence.
The honest part
We want to be clear about where we are: that is a dream. It is not built, not funded, not open. We are a brand-new foundation with a stubborn hope and a very long to-do list.
But dreams get builtthe same way trees grow.Slowly.
And only when enough people decide to tend them.
